KNITWEAR FW26

Over 100 ways to interpret knitwear

There are garments that belong to a season more than others. With the arrival of autumn, knitwear naturally returns to the center of the wardrobe.

First come the lighter knits, the ones we wear in the morning when the air turns crisper and continue to wear throughout the day. Then temperatures change, weights increase, and cardigans, turtlenecks, heavier wools, and warm yarns enter the mix. Leading up to the knitwear that accompanies us all winter long.

For the FW26 Angelo Baldin, we have built a particularly wide selection: over 100 men's and women's proposals, diverse in shape, yarn, weight, fit, and style.

Not just one idea of knitwear, then, but many different ways to interpret it.

From essential crewnecks to knit polos, from cardigans to vests, from turtlenecks to more contemporary silhouettes. Merino wool, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, and blends of different fibers, chosen not only for warmth, but also for their hand, lightness, structure, and the way they drape on the body.

A selection designed to accompany the entire season and, above all, very different wardrobes.

WOMEN'S KNITWEAR: SHAPES, VOLUMES, AND NEW PROPORTIONS

In FW26 women's knitwear, the line between an essential garment and the star of the look becomes increasingly blurred.

There are the light, clean knits that become a wardrobe staple: under a blazer, with tailored trousers, with denim, or under a coat. These are the pieces we wear constantly precisely because they manage to adapt to different combinations and moments.

Alongside the essentials, however, the volumes change.

More significant cardigans, vests to layer over shirts and T-shirts, turtlenecks, soft knits, and fuller silhouettes allow knitwear to be used as a true styling element.

The yarn also completely changes the perception of a garment. A thin wool creates a clean, minimal line; a lightweight cashmere brings softness and quality almost unnoticed; mohair and alpaca add texture and volume; heavier knits transform a simple sweater into the focal point of an outfit.

And it is precisely this variety that we sought in our selection.

Essential knitwear, but also pieces with more character. Clean shapes alongside contemporary volumes. Neutral colors together with the shades that define the season.

Because we don't all look for the same sweater and, above all, we don't want to wear it the same way.

MEN'S KNITWEAR: FROM CREWNECK TO POLO

In the men's wardrobe, too, knitwear has become much more than just a garment to protect against the cold.

The FW26 men's knitwear collection moves between essentialism and research: thin crewnecks, cardigans, knit polos, vests, turtlenecks, and more substantial knits build different layers of the wardrobe.

A lightweight knit can replace a shirt under a jacket. A wool polo can make classic trousers more contemporary. An essential crewneck works with denim just as well as it does under a coat. A cardigan can almost become an alternative to a jacket on milder days.

It is precisely weight, yarn, and fit that completely change the result.

That is why our men's selection includes very different proposals: from the finest yarns, designed for layering and the transition between seasons, to the warmer, more structured wools dedicated to the winter months.

The result is a wardrobe that does not necessarily divide pieces into casual and elegant, but allows them to be combined.

Denim, trousers, shirts, blazers, coats, and sneakers: knitwear becomes the connecting point between all these elements.

FROM LIGHT KNITS TO HEAVIER WOOLS

When we say knitwear, we are actually talking about garments that can be completely different from one another.

And this is perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of the category.

A very thin merino wool knit can be worn as early as the first weeks of autumn. It is lightweight, fits easily under a jacket or trench coat, and becomes one of those garments that accompanies you all day long.

As temperatures drop, warmer yarns, cardigans, turtlenecks, and heavier knits arrive. The feeling on the skin changes, the volume changes, and the way you build the look changes as well.

Merino, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, and fiber blends have different characteristics and personalities.

Therefore, it is not just about choosing how warm a sweater should be. You choose its texture, structure, softness, volume, and the way you want to wear it.

This is why very thin knits and heavier garments coexist in the Angelo Baldin selection: because the season is long and the wardrobe must be able to change along with the temperatures.

CREWNECK, CARDIGAN, POLO, VEST: WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE?

The crewneck remains one of the most versatile elements. Clean, essential, easy to integrate into the wardrobe and to use on its own or layered.

The cardigan, on the other hand, completely changes character depending on its shape and yarn: it can be minimal and light, or soft and significant, becoming almost a piece of outerwear.

The knit polo is one of the most interesting alternatives for both men and women when you are looking for something more structured than a classic crewneck, but less formal than a shirt.

The vest continues to play with layering: over a shirt, a T-shirt, or a thin knit, it allows you to add volume, color, and different proportions without weighing down the look.

And then there are turtlenecks, special textures, new lengths, and all those models that go beyond the definition of "basic" and become true fashion pieces.

Therefore, there is no single essential sweater.

There is the right one for your style, for your wardrobe, and for the moment of the season.

OVER 100 PROPOSALS. ONE SINGLE SELECTION.

Having more than a hundred knitwear proposals for men and women does not simply mean having more choice.

For us, it means being able to choose better.

Each season, we search through different brands, collections, materials, and shapes for what we want to bring to Angelo Baldin. Some garments are chosen because they can become part of the wardrobe for years. Others because they perfectly capture the moment. Still others because they have a color, a texture, or a proportion that changes even the simplest look.

This is how the essential crewneck and the more fashion-forward knit, the thin merino and the chunky yarn, the everyday cardigan and the piece you choose precisely because it is different from everything else you already own coexist in the same selection.

More than a hundred possibilities, but not a single casual choice.

It is the choice, not the discount.
