A sophisticated interpretation of the iconic MA-1, offered by the TAION JAPAN SPECIAL line in a fully reversible construction: two materials, two aesthetics, a single piece of outerwear.

The first side is crafted from soft faux leather with a polished, refined look, while the second features durable high-density nylon with onion quilting, inspired by classic military liners. Two completely different surfaces that allow you to transform the character of the jacket simply by flipping it inside out.

The high-quality 800FP down filling ensures superior thermal capacity while keeping the garment light, soft, and comfortable.

On the faux leather side, we find authentic details from the MA-1 universe: zippered utility pocket with pen slots on the left sleeve, oxygen tab on the chest, and flap pockets at the hips. The quilted side, meanwhile, presents a more minimalist aesthetic with welt pockets.

The dual YKK front zipper allows the jacket to be opened from the bottom, modifying its proportions and fit. Rib-knit cuffs and back hem complete the bomber construction.

The silhouette is intentionally slightly loose and relaxed, for a contemporary fit that is easy to layer over knitwear.

One garment, two completely different ways to wear it: bolder and more urban on the faux leather side, more technical and military-inspired on the quilted side.
